Trustees and Staff
The Lawrence Foundation currently has two
trustees. They are:
Jeff Lawrence
Jeff is
President & CEO of Clivia Systems,
former CTO of Intel's Network Communications Group and co-founder and
former President & CEO of Trillium Digital Systems which was acquired by
Intel in 2000 for $300 million. Jeff has been involved in the
development of communications software, hardware and systems for the
wireless, broadband, Internet and telephone network infrastructure since
1980. Jeff is also Trustee of
The Lawrence Foundation,
a family foundation focused on grant making to environmental, education,
health and human services causes. Jeff has a BS of Electrical
Engineering from UCLA. Jeff was co-recipient of the Greater Los Angeles
Entrepreneur of the Year award and the UCLA School of Engineering's
Professional Achievement award.
Jeff is a member
of American Association for Advancement of Science, sits on the UCLA
Engineering Deans Council and sits on the Providence Saint Joseph
Foundation community hospital financial Operations committee. Jeff
writes and speaks on technology, entrepreneurship, philanthropy,
economics and ethics.
Diane Troth
Diane Troth held engineering development positions with the Aerospace Corporation,
Hughes Aircraft and McDonnell Douglas Corporation. Diane received a bachelor's degree
in mathematics and a master's degree in engineering from the UCLA in 1980 and 1981 respectively.
Staff
Lori Mitchell, Executive Director
Prior to Lori's position as Executive Director of The Lawrence Foundation, Lori served
as the Administrator to the foundation from January 2001 to December 2002. Prior to The
Lawrence Foundation, Lori worked at Trillium Digital Systems from 1995 to 2001 primarily as the assistant to
Jeff Lawrence, co-founder, president and CEO of Trillium. Lori also served
as web administrator and marketing assistant at Trillium. Lori received a
bachelor's degree in Art History from The University of Colorado at Denver
in 1992.
